Expect a discussion of your background, state and licensing stage; the independent business relationship; training and systems; compensation and possible expenses; and whether further discussion makes sense for both sides.
This is an introductory conversation. It is not a promise of employment, acceptance, income, licensing approval or carrier appointment.
Prepare a few useful questions
- What written compensation schedule and chargeback rules would apply to me?
- Which licenses, carrier approvals and agreements would I need?
- What expenses may apply, and which services or purchases are optional?
- How do onboarding, training, technology and support work?

Before the appointment
Confirm the date, time zone and meeting method in your booking confirmation. Choose a place where you can speak comfortably, test your audio if a video meeting is scheduled, and have your questions ready.
You can discuss your licensing status without sending identity documents. Please do not email Social Security numbers, bank information or client records to prepare for the call.
