After you become licensed

Your License Is a Professional Milestone.

Earning a license is a personal professional milestone. If you complete your licensing requirements and remain interested in working with AEG, you may request information about AEG’s separate producer-review and onboarding process.

Any future relationship with AEG is subject to separate review, applicable licensing and compliance requirements, and any required agreements or carrier processes. Obtaining a license does not automatically create an employment relationship, independent-contractor relationship, producer appointment, access to leads, compensation, or affiliation with AEG.

Your first step

Ready to Take the First Step?

Before receiving pre-licensing resources from AEG, please review and complete the AEG Pre-Licensing Candidate Acknowledgment.

Read the entire acknowledgment, including any applicable assistance terms, before signing. Keep the signed copy provided for your records.

Complete My Acknowledgment

Opens the electronic acknowledgment in a new tab.

Participation in the pre-licensing process is voluntary. You are not required to purchase a course, become affiliated with AEG, or continue in the process.

A little clarity goes a long way

Your Questions Are Welcome.

An informed decision begins with clear answers. Here are a few to help you get started.

Do I need previous insurance experience?

You can explore licensing without previous insurance experience. Requirements depend on your state and the license you pursue. Take time to review the current eligibility, education, examination, and application requirements.

Does completing this page mean I am employed or contracted with AEG?

No. Visiting this page or completing the acknowledgment does not establish employment, independent contracting, producer affiliation, or a carrier appointment. Any potential relationship with AEG requires a separate review and applicable agreements and authorizations.

Does AEG guarantee I will pass an exam or receive a license?

No. Study resources may help with preparation, but examination results and licensing decisions are outside AEG’s control. You are responsible for satisfying your state’s requirements.

What happens after I complete the acknowledgment?

Retain your signed copy, review your state’s requirements, and contact AEG with questions about available resources. Confirm course costs and provider terms before enrolling. Any future producer relationship with AEG is a separate process.

Am I required to buy a course or continue with AEG?

No. Participation with AEG is voluntary. You may decide whether to proceed. Your state may have education or other licensing requirements, and providers may charge fees. Review any applicable assistance terms before accepting resources.
